Crazy Snap Captain
Quick question; are the IFF probes on Hellenic Air Force AUP Phantoms the same in size compared to the ones that are on their F-16's?
Fiddler
I did so using a revell mlu f-16 part. Just bend it a bit open as the top of the hasegawa phantom nose is a bit wider than the f-16's... It looked good and compared with panellines it came out quite nicely if you ask me 😉
scotthldr
Overall there isn't much a difference in size although the ones on the F-4's aren't as high as those on the f-16. I've compared all my F-16's and I'd say the IFF blades in the Kinetic box are the closest in size and shape but they're moulded onto a larger panel rather than separate parts. I think I may have blades left over from one of my -16's I'll check later on tonight.
Crazy Snap Captain
Thanks lads. I'm actually doing this is 1/32 so going to use some Academy numbers as moulds. Thanks for the tips and offer!
