Lunokhod 2
Hello, A space modeler colleague recently asked me to create in 3D the LRV platforms for the 1/6 scale. Upscaling my 1/32 parts was possible but would have reduced the level of details. I then decided to rework the parts at 1/10 to go along my 1/10 Lunokhod and then to upscale it at 1/6, keeping the best level of details. All parts are available on Shapeways. - 1/10 parts : https://www.shapeways.com/shops/spacemodels?sort=name§ion=1%2F10+Lunar+Rover&s=0 - 1/6 parts : https://www.shapeways.com/shops/spacemodels?sort=name§ion=1%2F06+Lunar+Rover&s=0 The lunar rover along the 1/32 Monogram CM Vincenthttp://spacemodels.nuxit.net
crackerjazz
Wow, it's breathtaking, even at this stage of construction. Looking forward to more build pics!
aircommando130
I just ordered the rest of the parts to build the 32nd Apollo CSM. The detail on the Rover parts is incredible. Especially those wheels.
ApolloMan
Oowyar, those wheels are incredible. When you look close at how they are made, you wonder why it hasn't been done sooner. Great work of detail in these kits. 1/10 and 1/6 big big big, I thought 1/12 was big.
