KursadA
CD72064 will be a 1/72 version of the best-selling 1/48 scale Vietnam F-104C sheet. Coming in December/January.
Flyboyf18
Eggcellent Now I am going to take a WAG that there will be a couple more schemes on the 72nd sheet? Are you willing to give us some hints? Thanks

Are you willing to give us some hints? Thanks I don't know yet - I already covered many of the Vietnam F-104s that were well documented enough to make decals. I also would like to keep the instruction sheet at its current size (4 pages), so I might just add one more set of national markings and stencilling, and keep the number of options the same. Johnopfor
Would you consider putting markings from the Puerto Rican ANG on the sheet. A lot of those F-104s were transferred directly from Vietnam to the 198th. Edited November 13, 2016 by Johnopfor
KursadA
PR ANG seems to be a reasonable option to add. I will add at least one or two. Edited November 13, 2016 by KursadA

nfiler
Why not go for something a lot more colorful. The 479th had some great markings prior to the TAC edict to remove everything in the winter of 1959-60.
KursadA
These are great, but it is a whole another sheet to design. My first goal is to scale down the Vietnam F-104 artwork I already have. Colorful early USAF Starfighters is something I have in mind for the future.
ChippyWho
Excellent. There is a yawning chasm in the market that Victory Productions plugged to some extent a while back...but try finding any of those sheets now!
Paul Boyer
Rocketeer Decals in Japan did a full sheet for 1/72 479th birds including at least a couple variations of the commander's birds. I don't know how much penetration of the U.S. market they got, but I did get the sheet and it is excellent. But I welcome Kursad's sheet especially for camo Zippers and PRANG too! niki4703
Thank you for doing these! It kinda ruins my New Year's resolution of not buying anything hobby-related in 2017, but I've been wishing for such a sheet for too long...
KursadA
Coming in the next batch:
Niels
The 1/48 version is excellent, so wouldn't expect anything less of the 1/
thegoodsgt
I like that you have all the warning placards already overlaying the US AIR FORCE markings. That makes things a bit easier. Steven Brown Scale Model Soup

stevehnz
I've got the italeri F-104C kit with SEA decals but I can see me buying a sheet of these for preference & variety. Just because I can. Steve. Edited February 2, 2017 by stevehnz
