hawkwrench
Is it me or does the 160th's helos have new light grey color to their markings? Here's a pic to show you what I'm talking about: I know, I know. It could be the angle of the camera or a lighting issue, but I don't think so. Sure looks like a new low viz grey for their birds. I think it looks pretty cool if you ask me. I wonder if Floyd or Chris could make some grey markings like this. Tim
Sarathi S.
I could have sworn I saw a picture of an MH-6M with markings in that color a few years back as well.
11bee
I thought all their recent markings were gunship grey (or something close to that)? The pic above doesn't look much different.
hawkwrench
Oh, I wasn't aware of the new GG colored markings. Hope someone will print a sheet of these new markings. Tim
Postman623
About 3 years ago, I saw a couple 60s doing some work on NAB Little Creek that were rocking some light grey markings on messy flat black. I though I was seeing things...
hawkwrench
I like the grey color better than the off yellow/tan ones myself. It gives the birds a better "cool" factor! Tim
Sarathi S.
I guess it'll be another thing for me to keep in mind when I actually get around to building SOAR birds.
HeavyArty
The more recent versions of AH/MH-6Ms have the grey US ARMY on the tail. It seems to only be on the H-6Ms though. Floyd captured this on his Nightstalkers part 2 decal sheet w/2 MH-6Ms with the grey US ARMY markings. hawkwrench
Too bad they're not on the hawks. That would look pretty cool! Tim
