Stephen Posted November 15, 2016 Share Posted November 15, 2016 This is the Kinetic 1/48 F/A-18C Hornet . Nice but a little over engineered in places. The instructions are not great and it helps if you have some knowledge of the aircraft and/or good references. I used Jake Melampy's Modern Hornet Guide and the DACO Uncovering the Boeing F/A-18A/B/C/D Hornet. Mods to the kit were : Scratchbuilt EW fairing on the fuselage side (as it wasn't included in the kit). Wolfpack Design SJU-17 NACES seat Royale Resin wheels Eduard Brassin AGM-65E Maverick The decals are from the kit except for the markings on the weapons which came from Flying Leathernecks.
