MONOGRAM 1/48 F-106A "B-1B Chase"

Hi all ,

        This is my latest model building. The F-106A is very attractive aircraft to me and it has several advanced technology an also the performance at its early time.

Model : Monogram 1/48
Decal : Eagle Strike's
Accessories : none

Looks great. The monogram 106 is a challenge. How did you like that upper to lower fuselage seam on the forward fuselage.?

 

Nice attention to detail, I like what you did with the natural metal at the intake lip, as well as the flat black antiglare panel, and the glossy radome.

That's one of the hardest part. I use Tamiya green cap glue and some rubber bands to squeeze the parts so that the seam joined smoothy. A little bit putty was used

But the more difficult is at the seam at the most forward leading edge and the intake cowling. I use CA glue+Putty mixed together at that point.
