I am building a NMF Soviet MiG-21R from 1968. I have two photos of such aircraft and I *think* there is no canopy mirror on either of them. What do you think? Mirror or no mirror? Many thanks! Floggerman Posted November 25, 2016 Share Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) the mirror came with the MF, also the M had no from factory. BUT... the MF canopy fits to R and M (w/o heating), so there were also this version (for R I have no pic) as well as a canopy with mirror (better: periscope) cutout but only a metal sheet to close the hole (as seen on East-German M). Remember: There's NOTHING impossible on Russian aircraft... For 1968 plane, I guess, w/o would be correct, the "retrofit" came later.
