picknpluck
Ok, so quick question: How best to go about painting the transparent blue section of the front windscreen of my F-4? I have Tamiya Clear Blue and I thinned it approximately 3 parts 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to one part paint and brushed it onto the windscreen. However, the paint dried kind of cloudy/foggy, which I attribute to the alcohol thinning agent. Is there another/better way?
Chris L
91 % alcohol dries too quickly for a shinny finish. Gunze self leveling lacquer thinner would be far better . I would also consider mixing it with some Gunze or Tamiya clear . If possible I would also prefer to airbrush it. Cheers, Christian

gregax
Just paint it like you planned to and then dip the canopy in the future....
The Keeper
Bet you could mix the blue with the future and come up with a wizard application! K
