Silenoz
On scalemates it says changed parts. Anybody has an idea what has changed in this release with regards to the previous release?

tobiK
I doubt about the belly...read carefully: it will be an EMB 312 Tucano, the existing kit is a EMB 314 SUPER Tucano. I think they add the parts needed to represent the Tucano (without "super").
Silenoz
aren't these completely different aircraft? dimensionally? So new hull, canopy, interior, ...
DonSS3
I was hoping they would do one of these. Actually, I was hoping Airfix would do one, but that's ok. Looking forward to this. Hopefully they'll do the British version as well.
KursadA
I am looking forward to this one - there are many users of Tucano and many colorful marking possibilities.

skyhawk174
Well this is good news I think. A couple of weeks ago I almost bought the resin one but now I wil hold off and see what this release is like.
ReccePhreak
Well, considering what a "great job" that Hobby BooBoo does in researching their kits, I wouldn't be surprised if the just took their EMB 314 SUPER Tucano and called it an EMB 312 Tucano.
Niels
Any news on this one?
Finn
Here are some Super Tucanos delivered to the Afghan Air Force, note the added on armour plates to the cockpit and under the engine: Jari

I would doubt that they are any sort of steel plates and more likely a kevlar composite panel of some sort for weight savings. Pretty boring scheme as is the norm these days. So I think I will stick with my original plan for my model and do the Angolan scheme when FCM release their decal.

KursadA
I am glad a Tucano kit is coming. The possibilities for different markings are endless. Too bad the RAF version and the standard Brazilian made aircraft are too different to address with the same kit. I hope some daring aftermarket company makes a conversion to build the British version (Shorts Tucano).
KursadA
I received my kit a couple days ago - here are some early impressions and photos. The kit decals surprisingly do not have a Brazilian option - but I am about to finish the design of a new sheet with four different Brazilian options.
