my favs are F`s
I'm first :)) so congrats for the beautiful Tomcat! Overall I like it a lot, but I have some inexplicable thoughts as well... Is it normal for a J. R. Tomcat to look so darker? And why so weathered (moderately) while the decals look contrasting ly bright and clean? GJ, beautiful display! It was a long build, with black primer and many layers of base and clear coats... I stopped looking at reference pictures at some point, and I painted it... a little bit too dark :-) As for the decals - point taken, too. Pictures ale making them look clearer than they are, but still, there is a room for improvement. Next build will be better! BTW lovely job on that Strike Eagle! Janissary
It looks fantastic. Very well built and painted. Despite all the issues highlighted with this kit, it still looks impressive when put together this well. Thanks for the head on shot too, my eyes always seek good overall symmetry and wheels that are correctly aligned (no camber). Yours is really good in that regard. Also, now looking at this model, the intake shape issue doesn't seem to bother me as much as I thought it would. Looking at the full side view, the only thing I will say is that I think the real tomcat sits a little lower at the back. The kit seems to be a tad bit propped up, I guess at the main landing gears. BJ Blazkowicz
Thank you very much, Janissary! Honestly, this is a good kit, with no major fit issues. The only thing I did with bottom intake lip, was to sand it, to make it thinner.
