KENT B
I'm building the 1/48 GWH F-15C...what a great kit except.....the exhaust details....I bought an Eduard set to pretty them up but that also disappointed me. My question...can the Aries resin burner cans be used on the GWH F-15C or is there a resin or PE set made specifically for the GWH F-15C?
Ol Crew Dog
I am not too sure on the fit but from what I have seen on my set they are no better then the ones that come in the ProMonoVells F-15E model kit, I was going to use them on that kit and found they were no better. GWH's featherless nozzles from what I have seen have pretty nice detail, why not just use the kits with the Eduard details added?
glorystomper
have you tried the resin nozzles from eduards limited edition fighting/striking eagles kits? they come with PE actuators and the detail looks quite superb.
CF104
I'm building 3 GWH F-15's and the Aires #4336 exhausts for the Hasegawa kit fit fine. The diameter of the part that fits into the fuselage is a bit on the small side but this can be enlarged with tape or styrene stock. I'll post photos of my kit later. KENT B
thanks guys! the "stock" actuators look bad to me and the Eduard PE are too small in my opinion....just saying. Ordered the Aries.
