Hajo L.
This is my 1/72 J-35 Draken in a rather unusual outfit. I think most of us know this swedish Delta-wing, which was the mainstay of the Air Forces of Sweden, Denmark and Austria. But some of them were privately owned, like this one. The "Airborne Tactical Advantage Company" (ATAC) was one of the private users of the Draken. They flew it in an adversary-role, and I think at least one Hollywood-movie (Airborne) had them playing the role of a bad guy. The build was quite easy, showing the roots of the kit which originally came from Hasegawa. The decals are selfmade by a fellow modeller. Unfortunately I made some wrong calculations, leading to the numbers and symbols to be a bid too big. It´s still looking good, I think. I hope you like this privateer! Bravosierra001
Very nice. Where did you get the ATAC decals. Would love to do an ATAC Kfir. Brandon
Hajo L.
A fellow modeller did the final drawing and the printing of the decals. As for the ATAC-KFIR: Do you know that AMK is planning to release their 172 Kfir with ATAC-markings? HAJO

If you are talking about that Apache-Movie, it was called "Firebirds" in the US. Looks like a nice and easy build.
Hajo L.
You are right! I only remember Nicolas Cage having a role, and that several scenes of that movie reminded me of stills I found in my Gunship and Gunship2000 computer games. HAJO
Jay Chladek
I've been looking to do a civilian Draken painted up in the Bobby Rahal Miller Genuine Draft colors from the early 90s (might be the same jet). My original plan was to do it in 1/48, but Hasegawa doesn't do the proper single seater in that scale. Nice work on yours and an excellent choice for something different. Hajo L.
Thank you! Never heard of the Draken you mentionend, any pictures? The 1/72 Hasegawa-kit (re-boxed by Revell) is a good kit, but lacks deeper details. HAJO
Lancer512
Wow! That MGD scheme looks so cool! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5s6yyohI5I The Draken can be seen from 0:18 onwards
