Pete Posted December 27, 2016 Share Posted December 27, 2016 It depends. Some of their kits come with their own decals. Thick, weird colors, especially red and white. MHaz Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 Quick rule of thumb on Hasegawa kit decals: If the boxing you have is one of their white (basic) boxings, you'll have the typical Hasegawa decals - thick, off-white, etc. If the box has "Special Version", "Limited Edition" or a small red box or the Cartograf logo near the kit number, you'll have Cartograf-printed decals. These boxings are also marked by a considerably higher price. Usually, it's worth your while to buy the standard/basic boxing and get aftermarket decals. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The past five years or so the colour of the Hase 'in-house' decals has improved and white is now truely white and not cream. They also seem to be a bit thinner than the older decals.
