torchf4
As the title says anyone has info on whether this boxing of the A6M5 is based on the new mold 1/32 A6M5c kit or the much older Zero that has been around since I was a kid? Price is 4000yen which suggest a new mold but could very well be just a price hike cos of the Iwamoto decals! Would like to know before committing to one. Thks and regards, Andy
D Bellis
The new kit's number is 08884. If that's not that kit's number, then it is one of the old kits. Both new and old kits are currently on the market, and are similarly priced. HTH, D

Slartibartfast
Check the Large Scale Kit database on Large Scale Planes site.
kaz
Kit 08245 is based on the new-tool ST34 and share the same MSRP (5400 yen) so you're getting a good bargain with just 4000 yen. It has completely different parts for the main wings, fuel tank, and engine cowling to depict the vanilla type 52. There's also a brand-new "M" tree with the instrument panel, wing panels, and other parts to complete the model.
