madcow
Hi guys, I just got Eduard's/AK Interactive Bf109E-1/3 in 1/48th scale and I was wondering if it's possible to build the whole engine and put the engine cover on (without glue) and remove it to show the engine whenever I want, or if, instead, building the whole engine will make it impossible to put the engine cover on. The instructions are not 100% clear. I think it's possible, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.
G.R.Morrison
I had to grind down the top of the engine in order to close-up my eduard 1/48 109E. Seems it is 'either - or', display the engine = upper cowl won't fit. By the way, be careful with the separate exhausts. Ping! Lost one 'forever.' GRM
madcow
Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll close the engine cover on this one, then.
