I wanted to show what the Original 1968 kit could be turned into. The old kit on the left and the rebuilt model I've added Resin and PE, copper wire, Aluminum sheet as well as a lot of scratch building with styrene And how it looks with some foil and paint. The appeal of this kit was that the Landing Gear folded ... and I wanted to keep this feature. Yes, it added a lot of work, but this is where the fun is for me! And the reason these legs fold is that in the entire model, the LM sits inside the Saturn 5's 3rd stage, like this. And 1 more beauty shot. Thanx for taking a peek!
