This Lunar Module, really is finished ... even though it doesn't look it.

 

I wanted to show what the Original 1968 kit could be turned into.

I've added Resin and PE, copper wire, Aluminum sheet as well as a lot of scratch building with styrene

The appeal of this kit was that the Landing Gear folded ... and I wanted to keep this feature. Yes, it added a lot of work, but this is where the fun is for me!

And the reason these legs fold is that in the entire model, the LM sits inside the Saturn 5's 3rd stage, like this.

A old Testors T-33A from way back in 1958. Added some plastic sheet to cover the holes that represented the landing gear bay. New ejection seats and decals from Canuck decals.

Built OOB, with kit decals.  Painted with MM Acryl "Dark Sea Blue" with leading edges done in Vallejo Metal Color "Duraluminum".
