I'm wrapping up a 1/32 sheet for the big Trumpeter Hog and have some free space left over.  What do you guys want on this sheet?

I have the Idaho and Michigan ANG A-10Cs fresh from deployment, complete with a massive amount of mission markings, several FT A-10A/C with the sharkmouths, the New Orleans Chopper Popper from Desert Storm, the other helo killer from 3 separate times during its career, modern Osan A-10C, several other ANG squadrons, Desert Storm A-10A from Myrtle Beach, and a couple others.

What else needs to be on the sheet?

Thanks for the input.

The Grissom jet is already available from Cutting Edge, and it isn't selling terribly well in 1/48 on my sheet already available. Which jet is the EL jet?

Thanks for the suggestions.

Myrtle Beach DS jets, they had quite a scoreboard themselves, and you have a great ref.jet about an hour from your house...;)

Jeff

I've got the 355th flagship on this sheet, and walkarounds of all other MB jets that went to war.  Those will be on a 1/48 sheet soon.

The jet at the museum was sanitized of all cool Desert Storm markings before it went on display.  What a shame.

Hi Jake just ordered a few books and decals over New Year.  Do you have any idea when here decals may be released as I am participating in a Group Build which ends in May and would love to do an Arctic Camo A-10

thanks

This is obviously a biased response here...  My old jet 82-665 was the very last A-10 built.  It first flew at England AFB and was the demo jet for awhile.  It flew in Desert Storm and later in life at Davis-Monthan and is currently flying at Nellis.  The last of its kind, and I've got some decent reference photos of it just a few weeks prior to leaving for Desert Storm.  It took me a great deal of effort to get the right markings for the jet way back when I built this - but even after all these years, it's still a pretty iconic look.

I will try to grab some shots of my old jets when they get back home soon. I know they painted Mustaches on them for the deployment. Hopefully they'll keep their art til they get home at least.

They did, and Boise gave your guys the same stylized mission markings they used during their deployment.  Same moustaches, too.  Some nice looking jets!

They will go to print this week.  You can build the snow hog by using any black decals to get the AK tail codes and serials.  There were no squadron badges or other markings on those two jets that would require special decals.

If it is not too late, I vote for a 75 FS jet.  Tail number doesn't matter, something that deployed for OEF in the last few years.  Just want the 75 FS shark patch and black/white checkers on the tail.

Sorry, Don, it is too late.  Out of all the Moody Hogs I've shot over the years, I didn't have solid refs for even a single 75th jet.  I'd have door art but not crew names, or crew names but no paint barn stencil, or just distant shots where I couldn't read crew names.  Frustrating.

Awesome to see Shaw 507ACW and 21st FS markings...if there had been a 55th FS it would have been perfect..

I also have it as the 55th Fighter Squadron flagship and 20th Ops Group flagship, but I ran out of room.  Look for them in 1/48 soon.
