breadneck Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Did you ever experience using the very same paint colour on two different kits and the final result came out looking different because the underlying (actual) plastic had a tonal variation to it? balls47 Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Yepper, I built a Monogram 1/48 scale F-84F. It's gear-up because it's gonna be an in-flight desk model. I sanded off most of the raised panel lines and gave it a few coats of Future. The plastic is dark green, and It's gonna be a NMF Ohio ANG Thunderstreak.
