Gunslinger Posted January 18, 2017 Share Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) Hey guys, This is my first post here on ARC an I'd like to show you one of my, at least in my eyes, best models. It's quite old already (completed it about 2 years ago), but I still like it and thanks to my super slow buildung it's also one of my rather recent models - and definitely one of my most enjoyable builds! Alright, here it is: My Tamiya 1/48 A-1H Skyraider. Unlike I would do today, this model was pre-shaded along the panels lines and post-lighted within the panels. If I were to build the Skyraider today, I would have gone with black-basing. After painting I put on the decals and softened them down a little by lightly spraying over them. Then I gave the model a wash to further embrace the panel lines. Futher, to give it a more lively look, I used pin-point washes in different colors. Hope you like it!
