Micro
Hi, all. When do the pilots of E-2s and C-2s first get carrier qualified? Do they do it in the T-45, or is their first time on the boat in the actual aircraft? Just curious. Thx
scotthldr
After initial screening and basic flight training the Naval Aviators training for the E-2/C-2, conduct multi engine training with TAW-4 at Corpus Christi on the T-44. Upon successful completion they then report to either TW-1 or TW-2 for further training which includes carrier qualification on the T-45, after which they are assigned to VAW-120 at Norfolk.
