1/72 Su-17M3 by Modelsvit

I wonder if it is possible to use a Pantera/Mastercraft/et al.  Fitter as a rear fuselage donor for a Modelsvit Fitter. I mean, sure, with enough elbow grease anything is possible, but maybe it's not that hard? And these kits are relatively cheap to get. Nowhere near as detailed as Modelsvit of course, but maybe a start.

 

As for an R-29-engined Fitter kit, I wouldn't put it past Modelsvit. They did do a number of one-offs and prototypes not just in general, but also from the Fitter family, so it seems they've a thing for versions with limited appeal.
