F-14A VF-32, Bicentenial, 1/48 Tamiya

Recommended Posts

I said it over on the Facebook Group Build page and I will say it again here-

Simply Spectacular!

I appreciate all the great effort you put into fixing the tail markings as well - painting and masking the red and blue stripes with the black borders must have been tedious, but they sure came out well!

Brilliant Job! The red white and blue Bicentennial treatment adds a lot to what i think are already really nice looking markings for VF-32.

NOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just an FYI (NOT a criticism, just a Tomcat geek passing on info), at that time Tomcats only had a solid, Dark Gull Gray walkway on top of the left intake. It wasn't segmented and on both sides like it was later on.

Well look at that! There you go. You got it right. I didn't think the segmented walkways on both sides came around until the 80's. Look how dark those are, too. I stand corrected. Nice picture.

I like the bright color choice. Super nice modeling skills. I also like the exhaust colors and cockpit colors.
