beingthehero
Are the bombs on this MiG-29 the FAB-250 M54 type, or of a different kind? http://russianplanes.net/id198889

mingwin
you found a cool subject there. i wasn't aware that there was still MiG-29A in RuAF. (or at least, a MiG-29A with a refreshed "old style soviet era camo" (grey-green on grey) with the new stars ans RF registration number on tail...)
MoFo
No. FAB-500 M-54 are tapered on the front and rear ends with fins that project off the back of the bomb, and a ring connecting the fins. They are likely SAB-250-200 illumination bombs. The SAB has the same basic shape, but is smaller; going by the size, I think it's more likely that they're 250's. Marv
It looks like those bombs are included with the new Kittyhawk Su-17 kit (1/48th), along with a bunch of other weapons: https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/kh/kit_kh_80144.shtml
