Deino
Has anyone seen build models of these latest Chinese types ?? Especially the J-20 and most of all the J-10B. All I was able to find were these "first look" links ... J-20A - the revised prototypes: http://ipms-deutschland.business.t-online.de/FirstLook/Trumpeter/Tru_Chengdu_J-20_2011/Trumpeter_Chengdu_J-20_2011.html J-20 - the demonstrators: http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/FirstLook/Trumpeter/Trumpeter_Chengdu_J-20/Tru_Chengdu_J-20.html J-10B: http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/FirstLook/Trumpeter/Tru_Chengdu_J-10B/Tru_Chengdu_J-10B.html Cheers, Deino
Van Buren Boys
Almost finished with the newer J-20 model: I will have a write up in the Display Case section when i have time to finish it later this month.
Fiddler
May I ask what boxing this is? I noted that during the Zhuhai show last year that the J-20 has a rather striking F-22 like coloured paint with low-viz markings, These white markings you have, are the first I notice and didn't see it in the inbox reviews around... Greetings and thanks!
Van Buren Boys
It's the newer boxing, but the low-viz markings were airbrushed using a stencil:
lulldapull
Trumpys 1/72 mig-19 and Nanchang Q-5/ A-5III have gone under the radar. No news about them at all.

Hey nice ... and already with 176. Brigade serial numbers ! Is it one of the two in splinter camo ? From the few images available I would say these two are 78273 & 78174; whereas 78271 & 78172 are plain grey. Edited February 5, 2017 by Deino
Fiddler
Are these homemade stencils? If not, where do you get them? By the way when looking at Zhuhai pics, I couldn't find any serial numbers, which are you using and have them stencilled also? Greetings!

They are assigned to the 176th Brigade FTTC at Dingxin AB and have 7827x-serials. Known si so far x = 1 - 4. Homemade using a silhouette Portrait cutter. Very useful tool. I had wanted to do the splinter camo, but I also wanted serial numbers and when I painted the tails, there were only pics of 78271... I may build 78273 or 78274 in the future.
