RedHeadKevin
So, I have the Skunkworks Models 1/48 Carrier tractors in my stash, and I figured one would be fun to build as a "waiting for paint to dry" project. While these are nice little kits, and I highly recommend them for beginners, they have some detail stuff that someone suffering from AMS like me will be bugged by. One thing I wanted from the start was to weather the bejeezus out of this thing, and make it look like it had been at sea for 6 months. There is still a little way to go (it doesn't even have a wash yet) and some details need to be added (the steering wheel and assorted levers.) Also, the wheels are just Blu-Tacked on at the moment, so bear with me. In case you're wondering, the carrier-deck base is from the back of an old Monogram kit (remember when they used to print bases on the back of the boxes? Good days.) https://goo.gl/photos/ssuVncpvyDXw1SaYA https://goo.gl/photos/34kRPpeBSYRPtsgZ8 Edited February 10, 2017 by RedHeadKevin
