Ryan Hothersall
The Pioneer 2 kit of the Su-15TM, which they call the Su-21, built as a camouflaged aircraft in Soviet markings. This kit is quite basic and is from the era when information on Russian built aircraft wasn't more freely available like today, so had to dig out some missiles and tanks from the spares box as the instructions have you put four AA-3 missiles on, but the Su-15 only carried two plus later ones like this one had two AA-8 missiles as well. Colours used are Model Master 2033 blue on the underside, and the top side colours are Humbrol 120 green, Tamiya XF-58 green and Tamiya XF-64 brown. Decals are from the Begemot Su-15 sheet. Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
I agree, very nice, especially considering the age and limitations of the kit to begin with; just goes to show you can make great work with whatever you've got!
