phantom
Hope to start a 1/32 Revell F-4E tomorrow, modified to a F-4F. 15 year old AirDoc decals and resin seat. Not sure which markings I am going with yet, but might be a big R on the intake.

phantom
So far the kit has been simple enough. The resin seats seem way too short so I will have to figure something out there. Nice thing however it seems the kit has extra tails.........the right tail s for a F-4F!!!!! So no mods needed there. Missing the one wing tank but hopefully there is an extra in one of my other kits. So far its completely out of the box. Just paint for detail. Will add some wires for the cockpit later. phantom
Fuselage in one piece.
phantom
While putty dries till tomorrow, I drilled some holes and add paper clips to represent the wire bundles. Few more of those to go. I do not super detail anymore. Just the stuff that shows.
Kurt H.
Nice start. I hope you find the missing wing tank.
phantom
Yep, have a RF-4C kit that had an extra. Have a feeling that might be where the tails are from. Must have gotten mixed up or something.
Ichitoe
Expeditious progress! Good to see the tube glue on the bench! Mike

tobiK
Yep. Especially richthofen Phantoms became real matt and weathered because they also operated over the sea....salty dogs somehow.
