X-Plane Fan
Muroc Models just produced a very nice conversion set to make the six-engine YRB-49A Flying Wing from the old AMT 1/72 YB-49 kit. This has been the missing Wing in my collection for many years. As can be expected from Muroc Models, the parts fit is excellent and castings are flaw free. Most of the work is getting the kit parts to fit correctly. So far, it's been a pretty easy build. Many thanks to David Newman at Muroc Models for producing such a nice set that's long overdue. Falcon50EX
Wowee that looks great! David did a great job at re-thinking the intakes and making something that is representative, and not just passable. He makes some great conversions but he's so shy and unassuming you never hear about him. Kind of one of the "Best Kept Secrets" in the resin aftermarket/ conversion business. david

X-Plane Fan
Almost done. Just a few more small details.... YRB-49 used control sticks and not yokes like previous wings...
