Flush
Greetings all my modeling brothers. It's been a while since I've been active here. I just retired from 24 years with the Air Force, got married, graduated college, and moved to Florida, all in the month of August 2016. So in moving from Colorado to Florida, almost all of my models suffered battle damage, and I'm still greaving that just a bit. So in the "winter" here in Flordia, I am working on my other hobby, pen making. I make pens on a lathe either out of wood or acrylic resin. I am currently trying to make some aircraft themed pens. My current project is a WWI Albatros DV pen. I've been using almost all of my modeling skills and some new skills I'm learning at the Tampa Hakerspace. Right now I'm in need of some OBJ or STL files of some Mig, SU, GE engine exhausts so I can cast them in metal to put at the end of my pens. I just want to print them out in the correct size for pens then either do jewelry lost wax casting for the pen part or drop the files into a small CNC machine to produce them in metal. Here is a link to the pens I'm working on or have done. Can anyone help? I'll be glad to pay for the files or trade in pens:) http://www.penturners.org/forum/f56/work-progress-wwi-albatros-dv-pen-146162/ Photo album: http://www.penturners.org/photos/index.php?c=1&u=18467 If you see anything you like let me know.
