john53
Whats the best kit in 1/72 for an Army Blackhawk medivac helo? I see them all the time buzzing over my place in FL. Thanks---John
Glynn Jacobs
I don't have the answer to your question but I would even settle for a resin interior for the Hasegawa UH-60A with some Air Force-style Night Hawk tanks. Just waiting on those interior parts! Cheers, WARDOG
huey_crew_chief
Fujimi makes and older kit. I think it is called a rescue hawk. It has a basic medevac interior.
Floyd S. Werner, Jr.
Werner's Wings makes the decals for medevac Blackhawks. Floyd

john53
Thanks, if anyone knows please let me know as I have that kit to work with. I have heard the fuselage shape isn't 100% accurate but I can make that work, just need to know what needs to be done to accurize it. I am looking at doing a Fl Guard Medevac helo.---John Edited March 13, 2017 by john53

Yes, it is a standard UH-60A, as many MedEvacs still are. All you would need is the MedEvac decals from Floyd. It doesn't have to have the litter stacker either as many MedEvacs (esp. operating in A'stan) remove the stacker to reduce weight.

salvador001
If you build it in 1/48 or 1/35 there are plenty of options out there, Werner Wings has the caroussel litter device for both scales, so as decals, but in 1/72 it is very hard to get a medevac unless you scratch build the pieces.
