Shorty84
Servus Karl, here are some links which contain a few photos of Cuban MiG-23s: http://www.urrib2000.narod.ru/EqMiG23-e.html One of the most comprehensive resources for the Cuban Air Force (DAAFAR) in general. http://elhangardetj.blogspot.co.at/2014/10/migs-cubanos.html http://elhangardetj.blogspot.co.at/2012/03/cuba.html http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yQOOvQlo00o/UbHmPlZL5lI/AAAAAAAAFEc/kQXLgrXI5b4/s1600/mig-23cuban.jpg Notice that the MiG's were given a new paint job a few years ago. Earlier they carried the known Dark Blue/Olive camo. Now they feature various blotches of green and brown. Recent photos suggest that currently the roundels are carried only on the fuselage sides (no roundels on the wings). Hope this helps! karl h
Hallo Markus danke, i was aware of the first site (the pic is actually from there), the other site is cool, but no pics of early MFs
Shorty84
That's a pity. I found this picture of a Cuban MiG-23 in a museum which has the splitterplates in natural metal (or aluminum?). So maybe they were simply unpainted? Considering there is almost nothing available (in public sources) in the way of pictures of DAAFAR Aircraft you could go by this approximation and call it good. Btw, which kit will be the basis for your Cuban MiG? Grüße, Markus Edited March 14, 2017 by Shorty84

carlos escalante
HI, You can get decals and colours guide from the Aztec decals (cuban raiders) and also the old Albatros decals sheet. By example this seller in E-bay provide some instructions scans, check this one:
karl h
thank you carlos, i was aware of the drawing, but not of the Aztec sheet. it has the same pic as displayed above on it. the FS callouts of the blue/green/gray paint is very useful though. thanx again
