Hasegawa's 48th scale BMW 327

Recommended Posts

Anyone built this kit??  Any pitfalls to watch for??

Already instructions call for alot of detail painting that can't be seen AFTER undersides are assembled.  And I just started it this morning.

That's it!!  This kit kicked my tail!!  I give up!!!  Painted it twice and need to do it again!!  Throwing in the towel   Tried to use kit decals for circular chrome around spare tire and it's too small of a diameter or something!!  Fiddled with it for an hour and could NEVER get it positioned correctly.  Finally just tried to paint that chrome and did okay part way around!!  Paint pen dumped bright silver all over shiny finish!!  SQUAT!!

Jabow,

I built this kit and yes the chrome decal for the spare tire trunk is a &!~(# to work to fit

(Kinda like most Hasegawa jets, cars, and motorcycles)

Your not alone in you frustration with a Hasegawa product 🙄

I tell my friends that we should start a signed petition to Mr.Tamiya that from now on his company should make all plastic models from now on....yeah right lol

Hang in there,

Mr. Happy (In name only)
