swimmer25k Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 I'm building the Academy Su-30 and now working on the cockpit. I have an AKAN color that is supposed to be for Flanker family cockpits, but it looks a little too dark and green when compared to available photos. DonSS3 Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 You should remember that many cockpit photos are taken using a flash on the camera. This will tend to (at least a little bit) "wash out" the colors. So matching paint to photos can be tricky. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
beingthehero Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 The AKAN paint is a 1:1 match, and like DonSS3 said, photos are taken using the flash. Lighten with AKAN 73146 Radome/Radiotransparent White if the color seems too dark. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
