You are really tempting me to get me also one of these... very nice work...

The only advice I can give you is: DO IT!

And thank you Hajo, Moritz, Silenoz and b.l.stryker! :worship:

I have an important announcement to make: The build has passed the critical point where most of my builds get stuck: The interior is done!

I repositioned all the stuff inside and added tiny extras.

Perhaps you can spot the two first aid-bags in green on the backwall.

I also added a little joystick to the place of the sonar operator. As you can see the position of the seats to the windows is more correct now.

And what you can see on this picture: You won't see very much of the interior, when the fuselage is closed. :crying:

Since my little Makita killed the holder of the rotormast I had to scratchbuild a new one.

Closed it looks like this but you won't see the step because the swash plate will cover it.

As you can see I allready filled and sanded the seams. Not much surfacer was needed. I later rescribed the panel lines.

I also started to scratch the locks for the rotorblades. First stick some thin rod through thin sheet...

...and then cut it in shape.

Sorry for the bad focus but my camera had some problems getting a sharp image of these small details.

I have to announce, that this build has to wait some days because I broke my left arm. :bandhead2:

I hope I'm able to finish it untill the end of the group build.

I'm a little late for the groupbuild but I wanted to show the little Seahawk in this thread, now that it's nearly done. Again thank you for all your kind comments and the next time a helicopter groupbuild will be launched on arc I'm definitly in.
