And thank you Hajo, Moritz, Silenoz and b.l.stryker! I have an important announcement to make: The build has passed the critical point where most of my builds get stuck: The interior is done! I repositioned all the stuff inside and added tiny extras. Perhaps you can spot the two first aid-bags in green on the backwall. I also added a little joystick to the place of the sonar operator. As you can see the position of the seats to the windows is more correct now. And what you can see on this picture: You won't see very much of the interior, when the fuselage is closed. ice225 Posted May 17, 2017 Author Share Posted May 17, 2017 Since my little Makita killed the holder of the rotormast I had to scratchbuild a new one. Closed it looks like this but you won't see the step because the swash plate will cover it. As you can see I allready filled and sanded the seams. Not much surfacer was needed. I later rescribed the panel lines. I also started to scratch the locks for the rotorblades. First stick some thin rod through thin sheet... ...and then cut it in shape. Sorry for the bad focus but my camera had some problems getting a sharp image of these small details. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
