Emvar
I've been looking....plenty in 1/72nd and 1/35th scales......but none in 48th . Would also like to see an MH-47 IN quarter scale. Little fruustrated as I'm building a D model for my brother in law as he worked on them in Afghanistan for the RCAF. Would love to see the F model too..... Stephen
The Italeri 1/48 CH-47D is being re-released this year. I do agree about an MH-47 In this scale.
phantom
We need a CH-147 F too. That colour scheme is beauty. SURPRISING there is so little avaible in 1/48 for the D model as so many are still in service.
skyhawk174
Yeah the new RCAF F models sure loo0k great with all of the lumps and bumps on them. Meaner looking I think Maybe Italeri will one day reissue with some updated features.
salvador001
Waiting for Italeri to release the CH-47D, then i will build a D and F models. and why not an MH-47G? Rod.
tobiK
I also have a soft spot for the quarterscale Chinook! Love the JSDF Camo, RCAF is also great. A set with the big tanks and the necessary lumps and bumps and decals would be great to get a proper actual CH-47. CMK and Eduard have already some Resin and PE for the Chinook. RCAFFAN
For those that want to do a Canadian F in 1/48 I would push for a 1/48 MH-47G kit instead as it would be more likely to be made (as more popular I believe) and would be pretty easy to convert to a Canadian F. Of course us 1/72 guys can already do that with the MH-47G from Italeri/Revell...... Edited April 26, 2017 by RCAFFAN

Also so will Italeri add Sand filters? Time will tell I suppose.
salvador001
Are they going to include the US ARMY F model chinook??? Hope they do, and also include the sand filters, radar sensors and flare buckets. Rod.

Emvar
Looks like the kit is the same as previous CH-47D kits without added parts for the F..... which includes the extended range fuel tanks on the Canadian Chinooks.
Stephen
The kit is now available in the UK and Europe.
