TBP1538
Hello ARC, Here is a 1/72 Ju 88A-4 that my 8yr old son and I built from the Revell kit. I like modern jets, he likes WW2 subjects, but it's a great way to get him interested in our hobby. I also take the opportunity to try out new weathering techniques... This time, I tried my hand at the "hairspray" technique to replicate beat-up winter camouflage (and by hairspray, I mean AK Interactive's chipping fluid). The camouflage and markings are probably not historically accurate, but the kiddo likes the finished product and we had fun building it :-) Hope you like it too! Todd Lucky gust of wind... Jack Here
Outstanding teamwork! The chipping/fading whitewash is lovely. Also good to hear the father/son angle, we need the youngsters in the hobby.
