Sweet job on the hawk,  Rod. I especially love the hoist. She's coming along great!

Very nice.  It is coming along great.

Charlie Company, 2nd Batallion, in Iraq ca.2008.

I think you are missing something in your unit description.  It should be 2nd Battalion, something Regiment, something Combat Aviation BDE (CAB), something Division; like 2nd Bn, 3rd Aviation Regiment (2-3 AV), 3 CAB, 3ID.

Excellent work on that UH-60. You've used the aftermarket pieces very effectively, too.

It's a superb job of making this one look real, inside and out.

I'll be watching for the finished model.

Thank you guys for your encouragement.

Heres another update.

Been working on the flare launcher mounts made completely from scratch, and i made the HF towel bar style antenna on the tail boom. Some small details were added to the fuselage too. Man, im starting to like how its building up, the model is a beast.

Hope u all like it.

Rod.

The antenna is made with stretch sprue, the supports with styrene sheet and stretch sprue. It is a little difficult, if you want it more simple you can use evergreen styrene rod.

Top work Rod!

I'm trying to tackle one of these as an Australian Army bird so watching closely.

Looking great, Rod!  That antenna on the tailboom looks like a kit part.  I think you could give Oliver a run for his money with this build!
