Rick in Maine
I am rebuilding a 1963 Hawk U-2. It's taken a heck of a long time but I'm a better modeler than I was then! I was a high school sophomore when I built it. Didn't even paint to airframe. I'm seeking help on the speed brakes. Some photos seem to show them actually in the wells when closed i.e. flush with the skin. Other shots look like they closed against the fuselage, i.e. were on top of the aircraft skin. I've hit a bunch of possible references with nothing very clear. I don't need a scanned picture. Just tell me how they lie. Thanks Rick in Maine
Sabre Freak
Hmmm. U-2S do not, but that's not your version http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/u2sfiles/U-2S_DragonLady-38.jpg Not my photo, so I've linked to it.
