RF-4E phantom II retirement

On May 5th an official ceremony was held for the RF-4E Phantom II retirement as the HAF 348 Recce Sq. suspended operations. A great farewell to the RF-4E in Hellenic Air Force service with 500+ spotters from 25+ countries attending! A few pics from the event with the last three operational examples flying over the 110 CW.

thanks for the photos! it'll always saddens me a little to see fewer and fewer operational phantoms...

Iran and Japan are the only RF-4 operators left.

Sad to see the "Spook" in tears... I think we need to designate the name "Phantom" to one of the new aircraft types!
