Gator52
Yes, would really like to see this light gray version of the AMC shield seen on some Shamu KC-135s & KC-10s, compared to the all-black version used on the AMC gray jets. Thanks Jonah

KursadA
Still working on the numerous unit badges that need to be drawn in enough fidelity to be used in a 1/72 scale - it will take a bit more time but you will see a series of limited-edition sheets. Dutch
Don & Tom, please don't poke the bear. In the meantime, I am buying a few more KC-135Es. K/r, Dutch

thegoodsgt
If I may, it would be cool to have marking for the engine covers when sufficient references exist. 😎
Dutch
Kursad, Will any of these tails be on the first sheet? What about subsequent sheets? K/r, Dutch

K/r, Dutch Man do those SAC KC-135 tail bands bring back memories. Saw many of those when I was stationed at Eielson AFB in the mid 80's. SAC would send crews up from the lower 48 on TDY rotation as part of it's Alaska Tanker Task Force.
Drifterdon
So not sure how close you are to completing this sheet Kursad but I stumbled across this interesting story regarding KC-135E 58-0013 "Balls 13". Seems they lost both engines on port wing during a mission in Desert Storm but were able to safely recover the aircraft. They patched her up and it flew with Kansas Air Guard until retirement in 2004. Wondering if you might still have room on this sheet for one more KC-135E? Not sure if Kursad is going to do a second sheet for 135R's. I'm still sitting here like a little kid waiting for the 135A/E sheet to be released.
bluedot25
Me too... I think they’re lots of us “little kids” waiting out here...!
Dutch
Just received this item release notice from Hobby Search Japan: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10699384 It does not specify what markings are included, but notes two different options.
Gator52
Good intel Dutch, I’ll be curious to see what they come up with for marking options. Still plenty of potential for aftermarket options for Shamu A & R models! Jonah
