JEFlint
What else might be require to convert a PBY-5A to a PBY-5 besides sealing off the wheel wells? TIA
peter havriluk
What's the motivation? PBY-5's were made, at least in 1/72, by Revell. Got one in my stash.

I'd rather avoid the Revell -5. I built it when I was younger and it's the raised panel line, hundreds of rivets version. Same with the Airfix PBY. Minicraft/Academy PBY-5As are pretty common, but it seems like the other versions are harder to find.

afspret
Revell did a -5 in 1/48th scale a few years ago and I think I got one in my stash. FYI, Academy also did a -4 and a -5 in 1/72 scale.
