ALWAYS is not a word I would ever use to describe any aspect of Vietnam Hueys. However, they USUALLY had the 6 inch yellow tip on the blades. there was also some experimentation with a single all white blade on top or alternating black and white bands. One thing I would do is paint the tail rotor with red/white stripes since this would have been an early medevac even as a What If. Ray Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Tank Posted June 18, 2017 Share Posted June 18, 2017 In this case I would go with 12" white tips. I think would good. That way if you want to repaint later you already have the base coat ready to go.
