BoeingDriver
I haven't posted on here in quite some time. Here's my Tamiya Tomcat. It's not 100% accurate, but I like it a lot. Rodney
I like how it turned out. I have the Fighter Town decal sheet and want to build the same. What is not 100% accurate about it? Rodney

What is not 100% accurate about it? Rodney Hi Rodney...for starters, the wolf head, inboard "NK's", and the forward red stripe are not sized for the kit, but for the Hasegawa kit. They will still work, but are a tad too large. Also those 70's 14's didn't have the stiffeners on the spine and VF-1 had a different gun vent. VF-1 mostly carried the TCS chin pods too and depending the year, had the earlier beaver tail. They are working on decals that will fit the Tamyia kit, but I really wanted to use those and didn't realize they were too big until I was ready to apply them to the jet. Still, those decals will work fine if you're not worried about the size. Thanks for looking! Edited June 28, 2017 by BoeingDriver
Aigore
Great looking wolfpack kitty :D I'm working on a first cruise wolfy kitty too, hardest thing is keeping it clean....I'm really not used to build overly clean jets, I prefer over weathering them a bit. Looks like you have kind of the same issue as i do. It's a gorgeous build and you got the decals down far better than me

I settled for 77-79 timeframe.

A-10 LOADER
Excellent job even with the inaccuracies you pointed out. One thing I noticed is your yaw string is way too long, it should be about half that size. Steve

You know, I had seen a pic of a jet that had one that its tip rested between the rain diverters. I just went w/that. As a matter of fact, those still photos from the Final Countdown show those jets w/pretty long yaw strings. Edited June 29, 2017 by BoeingDriver
