Ryan Hothersall
A pair of 1:72 MiG-29s in Malaysian markings. First kit is the single seat Italeri MiG-29 kit packaged up in a bag sold under the Bilek name. No idea if the moulds were being used by Italeri or Bilek for this one, as the fuselage in particular was a bit warped, so fit wasn't the greatest on this one. Designated as the MiG-29N in Malaysian service. This is the single seater, in the original grey and greenish grey scheme from about 1995. Colours used were Model Master 2120 grey and Model Master 2134 grey green. Decals are from Decal la, which went on without any major problems, although some decals are quite small, so a couple nearly got lost while cutting them off the sheet. Build wise, very good for a new kit, although fit of cockpit is a bit tight, particularly after it's been painted. This aircraft is in the post 2005 overall dark grey scheme. Humbrol 125 grey. Again Decal la decals were used.
