Modeling in high humidity tips...resin, decals, paint, etc

Recommended Posts

So me and the fam are moving to an island in Micronesia area for a couple years. I'm keeping the majority of the stash and decals in long term storage. I'm bringing with me a dehumidifier for the home and I'll have constant A/C but have never modeled in a tropical marine climate with constant humidity. Any suggestions or hints would be greatly appreciated.

Does southwest MS count. (50 miles from New Orleans) Right this moment the humidity is a crisp 79%.... it ranges from the low 60's to 100%  year round. and for the most part that's even in the dead of winter...my setup is a converted garage and humidity stays in the 40-50% range. I've had No issues ever, and that's without taking any precautions for anything....so my take is the outside humidity is not an issue if the hobby and storage areas stay in the lower ranges.
