achterkirch
I wouldn’t mind seeing the 48th FIS F-15’s as well. Or the 5th FIS as well. They both had some sharp looking Eagels.
Dutch
I agree with Falcon053 & achterkirch. I have the Mike Machat print of the 5th FIS F-15A intercepting a pair of Tu-95 Bears at altitude and it is one sharp paint scheme! I would love to see the 48th and 318th as well. KursadA
I have these early F-15s on the to-do list - just a need a few more good photos to clarify a couple of points.
KursadA
Actually, it looks like I have pretty much everything I need to put together an ADTAC F-15A/B sheet with markings of all three units - I will announce this in the forum. In the meantime, thanks for another forum suggestion that will become a real product soon!
roym
How about some VNAF birds in 1/72? Or a 10th May 1972 sheet? I know some/most/all have been done but not all are available (anyone got Silverkite 211 from Fox?) Or even the rescue mission for Locher on June 1st/2nd? A-1H Skyraider; HH-53C; F-4; F-105; MiGs. The direct task force of 119 aircraft included two HH-53C rescue helicopters, bombers, and an array of F-4 escorts, EB-66s, A-1Hs, F-105G Wild Weasels, and KC-135 tankers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Locher This is my favourite titbit I learned today; "During the rescue, an F-4E piloted by Major Phil Handley shot down a MiG-19 using his guns while flying at over 900 mph — and is by far the only supersonic gun kill in history." planeboy
how about a reissue of the 1/48 B-58 decal set?
jonbryon
Any chance we could get some markings for the FJ-4 Fury in 1/48? There is almost nothing out there 😞 Thanks Jon
thegoodsgt
We need decals for the F9F Panther and Cougar. There are a few out there, but a rich set of active duty, reserve, and wartime markings would be cool.

Thanks. Michael.
KursadA
Wait- what? I did not know there was a lack of recent FJ-4 decals - It definitely is a good idea and I will start looking into it.
thegoodsgt
With the pending release of the Hobby Boss 1/72 F8F Bearcat, there's another idea.

And while I'm at it, no one has ever done decals for an early F-84E (without the canopy framing) for the Revell 1/48 kit... Jon
jonbryon
While I'm at it, I'll also put in a request for decals for the Fouga Magister. No one has done any aftermarket French air force markings for the AMK or Kinetic kits in 1/48. A really long shot would be to ask for some 1/48 decals for the AU-23A Peacemaker to replace the useless Roden ones. Jon
martin_sam_2000
What about a Chuck Yeager sheet. include all the major types he flew. All three P-51's, the X-1, the Mig-15, both F-15's he flew during the anniversary flights. I am sure you can squeeze those on a standard sized sheet in 1/48. Maybe a token F-86H, F-100D or F-4 from his command years if references are available and there is space. I know many of his planes have been done before, but I don't think they have all been included in one sheet. Sean (P.S. I wont lie..I really need a set of Glamorous Glenn II decals for my early P-51D model 😁)
KursadA
The Yeager sheet is a good idea but it some time has to pass because a) it would be crass commercialism to rush a decal sheet to the market after his death, b) I would need to do a good amount of research to get things right. I will put it on the to do list, and hopefully we can have a sheet that will make justice to the memory of a great American hero on time for the first or second anniversary of his passing. It would be a nice way to honour his legacy, and there is no need to look like a jerk doing it. Sean

joeltc
How about some 1/48 Vietnam era F-4D/C Phantoms that aren't Mig killers. Also some decent 1/72 F-14 decals that aren't the usual CAG retirement jets that have been done to death. Even though theres some sheets that have been done that have some line jets they almost always are poorly researched or the colours are way off. I have at least three or four decal sheets I've ordered online over the last few years that have turned out to be useless when I received them.
