A good friend of mine who works in aerospace is retiring in January. One of the first programs he worked on was the ASAT program, I'd like to build him a little desktop model as a retirement gift. I'd gladly compensate for it. 1/48 is a tad too small. In later years he worked on satellite launches, and joked in his early days he was purposely working to destroy them, and now he was working not to let them be destroyed (on launch).
