Thanks for sharing this new Mr. Color paint, Shion! I'm curious, what kit did you use for this 1/48 Su-34 build, the nose seems to look very good, (at least to my inexperienced eyes)?

Talk about over emphasized panel lines........It is hard to tell if the actual color is close to being correct.

No doubt.  Nice looking model but I can't tear my eyes away from the panel lines!

That's not Mr.Color.  It's Mr.Color 40th Anniversary:

Quote

This year, 2017 is a memorable year because Revel Color which is former paint of Mr.COLOR changed its label and brand name into present "Mr.COLOR" just 40 years ago. Now we will launch limited production NEW colors, "Mr.COLOR 40th Anniversary" series. Moreover, we are planning to launch other new colors, made from innovative new materials, special colors for scale models, reproduction of discontinued colors and so on. You can look forward to it!!

So it's AVC06, not C6.

it's not my kit.

It's a kit build provided in the japanese model kit magazine called Model Art.

The color does look very much like a deep, dark purplish tone. Next time you're shopping look at an eggplant, it does resemble it.

I thought maybe "egg plant paint" was a new formulation using egg plants as a base.
