johnnymac
I'm getting ready to start the 1/32 Kitty Hawk OV-10D kit, and I'm planning on finishing it in the tan/brown VMO-2 Desert Storm camo scheme that's depicted on the box. Does anyone know the correct FS paint numbers for the tan and brown upper surfaces and the grey undersides? Thanks in advance, John
Jabba29
According to the brilliant web site Dstorm.eu they were painted FS30219, FS30279 and FS36375. The following link gives the paints that match these colours. http://dstorm.eu/pages/color/usa.html Hope that this is of some help.

JakubJakepilot
Bumping into this older thread, did you start/finish your kit ? I am waiting for my kit to arrive and also researching what was what 🙂 Here is the link to the latest Gulf war research - https://dstorm.eu/pages/build_instructions/ov-10_en.html Regards Jakub
johnnymac
Jakub, I finished the kit a couple of months ago. I couldn't find a definitive answer for the paints, so I used Model Master 1742 Tan and 2136 US Gulf Armor Sand on the top surfaces, and 1728 Lt. Ghost Gray on the undersides. They look correct to me.
JakubJakepilot
Wow, looks like a great build !!! Too bad the decals are wrong color, the kit has many flaws, but the build looks awesome 🙂
