F4DPhantomII
I like the girlie noseart like the P-61A's and B's. Are there any aftermarket decals with it for the C model.?
Steve N
I doubt it. The C-model was strictly a postwar variant, and flamboyant nose art pretty much disappeared in peacetime. There were some colorful P-61Cs with read and yellow trim assigned to the All Weather Flying Center. SN
F4DPhantomII
I like to think of the P-61C has the hot rod of the P-61's with the supercharged engines and the large airbrakes on the wings.I wish they had noseart oh well it was black and Moonlight Serenade may the only option I have. Thanks for response
Steve N
Keep in mind, the real "Moonlight Serenade" was actually a P-61B. The USAF Museum painted their postwar C-model in as a wartime B. SN
F4DPhantomII
Thanks Hobby Boss.Since it is fake I may as well put Lady of the Dark decals on it.I know Lady in the Dark was also a P-61B Edited September 7, 2017 by F4DPhantomII
